GreenDash is a Portugal-based B2B SaaS company using artificial intelligence to simplify ESG data management and sustainability reporting for SMEs.

As sustainability requirements increasingly reach smaller companies through customers, banks, investors, public tenders and supply chains, SMEs are expected to provide reliable ESG information without having the resources or specialised teams of larger corporations. GreenDash addresses this gap by making ESG reporting simpler, faster and more accessible.

Our platform transforms scattered business information into structured ESG data and reporting. Companies can upload existing documents, such as invoices, policies and other records, or enter information manually. AI helps extract and organise relevant data, while the platform guides users through the necessary requirements, identifies gaps, supports data collection and generates sustainability reporting aligned with European frameworks such as the VSME Standard and CSRD.

GreenDash combines ESG data management, reporting and decision support in one platform. Key capabilities include AI-powered document and invoice extraction, ESG data collection and ownership, dashboards and analysis, GAP Assessment, Scope 1, 2 and 3 data management, AI-assisted report generation, recommendations for improvement, stakeholder information requests, requirements navigation and generation of sustainability reports.

Our approach is designed specifically around the reality of SMEs: companies should not need an ESG expert or a complex enterprise system to understand their sustainability performance and respond to reporting requests. Instead, GreenDash helps them turn information they already have into useful ESG insights, transparent reporting and better management decisions.

We also work closely with sustainability consultants, associations, incubators and other ecosystem partners. Consultants can use GreenDash to deliver ESG reporting more efficiently to their SME clients, while associations and business support organisations can provide their SME communities with an accessible reporting solution.

GreenDash is currently validating its first version with SMEs and sustainability professionals in Portugal and Brazil. We have conducted more than 100 interviews with SMEs, consultants and financial institutions and have validated significant efficiency gains in the reporting process, reducing an estimated 104 hours of manual work to approximately 11.5 hours.

Our vision is to ensure that no SME is left behind in the transition towards more transparent and sustainable business, while turning ESG from a compliance burden into a practical tool for competitiveness, resilience and value creation.
