Ampotech, a Singapore-based energy technology company, has received the Special Recognition Award for SMEs at the Sustainability Impact Awards 2026, organised by The Business Times and UOB, recognising its use of IoT and AI-enabled software to support decarbonisation across the real estate and maritime industries. The award was presented at a ceremony on 23 September 2026.
Ampotech's technology platform integrates operational data from renewable energy assets, electrical equipment and other building or vessel systems into a unified environment for analysis, reporting and control, helping organisations move beyond basic energy consumption monitoring to identify opportunities for energy and cost savings and longer-term decarbonisation. The company highlighted two specific projects: Labrador Tower, a greenfield commercial development in Singapore requiring the technology to be progressively implemented alongside the building's construction schedule, and Voltai, an electric harbour craft launched in 2025, where Ampotech worked with a shipyard and project partners to design and fit out the vessel's fleet management system.
