Pebblebrook Hotel Trust Corporate Sustainability Report 2026

Pebblebrook Hotel Trust’s 2026 Corporate Sustainability Report reviews the U.S. hotel real estate investment trust’s environmental, social, and governance performance during 2025. Its eighth annual edition covers greenhouse gas emissions, resource efficiency, waste management, hotel climate resilience, employee well-being and community engagement, linking these priorities to long-term property operations and investment decisions.

As of December 31, 2025, Pebblebrook owned 44 hotels with 11,052 rooms. Its 2025 environmental performance data cover 46 properties, including hotels owned for only part of the year. The report includes portfolio performance tables and disclosures aligned with GRI Standards, SASB Real Estate indicators, and TCFD recommendations, along with selected IFRS S2 elements.

Pebblebrook reports a 45.5% decline in greenhouse gas emissions intensity from its 2013 baseline, exceeding its 35% reduction target for 2030. Energy intensity decreased 27.9%, water intensity 2.5%, and waste intensity 71.9%, each against its applicable baseline. In 2025, the company invested USD 3.21 million in environmental efficiency projects and reported a 35.5% portfolio waste diversion rate.

The findings illustrate the role of operational upgrades and climate-resilient capital planning in hospitality. However, the emissions-intensity target comparison excludes fleet vehicle and refrigerant emissions; the sustainability report received no external assurance; and the company has not completed a full climate scenario analysis.
