Wallbox and Turning Point Energy have surpassed 10,000 EV chargers sold and installed across Saudi Arabia since their partnership began in 2022, spanning residential, commercial and public charging environments nationwide. Turning Point serves as the official distributor, certified installer and maintenance partner for Wallbox's AC and DC charging solutions in the Kingdom, supporting deployments connected to Turning Point's agreements with EV brands including BYD and Lucid.
The milestone reflects accelerating electric mobility adoption in Saudi Arabia as the country builds out charging infrastructure to support its transportation and energy transition goals. Turning Point frames its work as contributing to the Kingdom's Vision 2030 electrification targets, positioning the partnership within the country's broader push to diversify its economy and energy mix away from oil dependence.

The scale of the rollout across residential, commercial and public charging environments suggests the infrastructure is being built to serve the full range of EV ownership scenarios, from home charging to public network access, rather than concentrating on a single use case. That breadth matters for EV adoption more broadly, since limited public charging availability is a common barrier that discourages potential buyers regardless of how convenient home charging may be.
Wallbox's chief business officer, Ignasi Alastuey, said the collaboration had supported reliable charging infrastructure deployment while maintaining high installation and service standards, and framed the milestone as reflecting both the partnership's strength and the region's growing EV ecosystem. Turning Point Renewable Energy CEO Fahad Al Saud said surpassing 10,000 chargers marked an important milestone reflecting increasing EV adoption and the importance of reliable infrastructure to support that transition, adding that the companies plan to continue expanding deployments as the market evolves.
