MKB Company, a portfolio platform of Align Capital Partners, has acquired Siltworm, an Indiana-based manufacturer of erosion and sediment control products. Siltworm specialises in proprietary rolled filter products used for perimeter control, inlet protection, stockpile protection, ditch maintenance and slope interruption, featuring a lightweight, biodegradable fill material the company describes as easy to install and environmentally responsible. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

MKB CEO Rick Costello said Siltworm "is a natural fit for MKB as we continue to expand our product offerings and invest in innovative solutions that help our customers achieve better environmental outcomes," describing Siltworm as having "built a differentiated product, a strong customer following and a reputation for innovation and service." Siltworm founder Joe Moore will remain with the business as MKB's Vice President of Market Development, continuing to support customer education, product growth and market expansion.
This acquisition marks the sixth by MKB since the company partnered with Align Capital Partners in November 2024, part of a stated ongoing acquisition strategy targeting leading companies across the stormwater and erosion control industry.
