Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies, a French company developing clinker-free cements for the construction sector, has signed a partnership with Terrena, a leading agricultural cooperative group in western France with 17,000 member farms, 13,000 employees and 118 stores. The partnership will integrate Hoffmann Green's 0% clinker cement technology into the construction of foundations and agricultural structures across western France, as part of Terrena's broader sustainability approach.
Terrena, headquartered in Ancenis and active across the full agricultural supply chain through brands including La Nouvelle Agriculture, Père Dodu, Tipiak and Ackerman, is pursuing what it describes as an "Agriculture with Positive Impacts" approach aimed at accelerating the transition toward more sustainable and resilient agriculture. The partnership specifically targets lower-carbon construction solutions for agricultural buildings supporting its member farmers' operations.

Hoffmann Green co-founders Julien Blanchard and David Hoffmann described the partnership as reflecting the company's "ambition to diversify the markets addressed by Hoffmann Green," framing agricultural buildings as "a particularly attractive market" for the company's development. Terrena Construction Materials Market Manager Matthieu Jamoteau-Bouquet said integrating Hoffmann Green's solutions "marks another tangible step forward" in the cooperative's efforts to reduce the carbon footprint of its activities and support members' transition, while helping "support the emergence of innovative and sustainable solutions for the agricultural sector."
