EY and Watershed Partner on Carbon Accounting and Sustainability Reporting

EY US and Watershed have formed an alliance to help companies improve carbon accounting, sustainability reporting and regulatory readiness. The partnership combines EY’s sustainability advisory, implementation and programme management capabilities with Watershed’s sustainability AI platform, with a focus on emissions measurement, audit-ready data and reporting.

The alliance will support organisations across Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions measurement, product carbon footprinting and sustainability data management. The companies also plan to help clients automate emissions calculations and build reporting processes that can scale as regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations increase.

Watershed’s platform will provide the underlying data and measurement infrastructure, while EY will support implementation, organisational change and broader sustainability transformation. The combined offering is designed to cover the full process from data collection and emissions measurement through to reporting, product carbon footprinting and planning.
