Capital Innovation for Impact (CIIP) and Philanthropy Asia Alliance (PAA) have launched the third edition of their Amplifier program to support startups developing solutions for climate resilience, digital and financial inclusion, and access to employment and essential services. Announced on 28 October 2026 at the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH), the 12-month program will select up to nine impact companies for tailored mentorship, industry expertise, commercial connections, and training. Qualifying participants will also receive catalytic funding starting at S$100,000 each, supported by a network of more than 80 partners.
The 2026–27 program introduces a climate-adaptive and resilient water systems track in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB). It will support technologies and business models that address water security, water treatment, resource efficiency, climate-risk forecasting, and coastal adaptation. The initiative aims to help promising enterprises develop commercially viable solutions for water-related challenges across Asia. Neeta Pokhrel, Director of the Water and Urban Development Sector Cluster at ADB, said the collaboration would help connect innovators with the expertise and networks needed to bring resilient water solutions to communities facing growing climate pressures.

Two additional tracks will address economic and social inclusion. In partnership with TikTok, the program will support solutions that improve digital access, business capabilities and financial literacy, particularly for underserved individuals and small businesses in Southeast Asia. A third track, developed with Temasek Trust's Spurring Singapore Socio-Economic Enterprises (S3E), will focus on inclusive employment, skills development and access to essential services such as healthcare and education in Singapore. The three tracks are intended to help impact-focused enterprises overcome barriers to commercial adoption while expanding access to economic opportunities.
Since launching in 2023, the Amplifier has supported 15 impact companies across eight markets. According to CIIP and PAA, its inaugural cohort has subsequently raised more than US$48 million in follow-on investment and grants and generated over US$6 million in revenue through new commercial contracts and partnerships. These results show progress among earlier participants, but they do not guarantee outcomes for companies entering the new program.
Dawn Chan, CEO of CIIP, said, "Promising impact companies need more than capital to grow. Access to the right expertise, commercial opportunities, and partnerships is just as important." Applications for the 2026–27 edition opened on 28 October 2026 and will close on 15 January 2027. Through catalytic capital, specialist mentorship, and industry partnerships, the program aims to help early-stage impact enterprises strengthen their business models and expand solutions that address environmental and social challenges.
