ChargePoint has launched a new Channel Partner Program to support the expansion of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across Europe. Announced on 27 October 2026, the initiative offers resellers in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Benelux, and the Nordic markets financial incentives, technical training, and business development resources. The program aims to help partners accelerate charging deployments while building more profitable businesses through hardware sales, software subscriptions and ongoing services.
The program introduces a three-tier structure, Bronze, Silver, and Gold, with benefits based on annual performance and training requirements. Participating resellers can access discounted charging hardware and software, performance-based rebates and project registration benefits. Silver and Gold partners are also eligible for Market Development Funds to support joint marketing activities, while Gold partners receive additional business planning and quarterly performance reviews. The ChargePoint Partner Connect Portal will provide a central platform for registering projects, securing deal protection and accessing commercial incentives.

Beyond financial support, ChargePoint will provide technical certification, sales training and dedicated account management to help partners deliver charging solutions for commercial fleets, workplaces, retail locations, residential properties and public charging networks. The program covers the company's AC charging systems, including the CP6000, as well as its Express DC fast-charging portfolio. John Saffrett, Managing Director of ChargePoint Europe, said, "The transition to electric transportation depends on the strength of the ecosystem delivering charging infrastructure to businesses and fleets." The initiative supports the installation and long-term operation of charging infrastructure as European transport electrification expands.
The program is open to authorized ChargePoint resellers, with additional wholesale channel benefits available to businesses that have not yet qualified for a partner tier. Paul Gunter, Sales Manager at UK-based Ground Control, highlighted the value of clearer project registration, technical support and commercial incentives for charging providers. ChargePoint expects the initiative to strengthen its European distribution network and help businesses deploy charging infrastructure more efficiently. However, the announcement does not specify new charger deployment commitments, investment amounts, or quantified environmental benefits associated with the program.
