The 10th Power & Energy Tanzania 2026 is a three-day international trade exhibition for the power and energy sector taking place from 7 to 9 October 2026 at the Diamond Jubilee Expo Centre in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The event brings together decision-makers, technical experts, manufacturers, suppliers, utilities, distributors, project developers, and other professionals involved in power generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy, automation, and energy infrastructure across Tanzania and the wider East African market. The 2025 edition attracted 4,500+ trade visitors, while the 2026 event is set to feature 160+ exhibitors from more than 25 countries.
The primary purpose of the exhibition is to connect international energy technology providers with buyers, distributors, project partners, utilities, government organisations, and commercial decision-makers across East and Central Africa. The event is designed to support market entry, product sourcing, supplier relationships, and investment opportunities while helping participants understand demand across Tanzania’s growing power and energy sector.
The event centres on a large trade exhibition featuring products and services across renewable energy, power generation, transmission and distribution, generators and UPS systems, industrial automation, energy efficiency, smart metering, IT solutions, and related infrastructure. Visitors can meet manufacturers and suppliers from multiple countries, compare technologies, establish distribution relationships, and engage directly with companies serving the regional energy market.
The exhibition is significant because it is positioned as a major regional gateway for companies seeking access to Tanzania and neighbouring East and Central African markets. Trade visitors are actively targeted from Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Somalia, Mozambique, Congo, and other regional markets, giving exhibitors an opportunity to build relationships beyond Tanzania alone.
Attendees can expect direct access to energy technology suppliers, potential distributors, project partners, and qualified commercial buyers. The event is intended to support product sourcing, new supplier agreements, regional business development, technology adoption, and stronger commercial connections between international energy companies and organisations operating across East Africa.
