Purpose and Objectives

The primary purpose of the event is to advance sustainable and climate-resilient food systems in Asia-Pacific. The programme is designed to showcase emerging technologies, share best practices, and drive discussion on food security, climate resilience, the future of food production, and agri-food technology adoption in the region.

Key Activities

The 2026 edition includes multiple connected events. On 26 October 2026, it features the Roundtable on Novel Food Regulations, a by-invite-only closed-door platform hosted by SFA for regulators and industry players to exchange best practices on novel food risk assessment, as well as the SIAW Welcome Reception. From 27 to 29 October 2026, the programme includes Asia-Pacific Agri-Food, described as the anchor event of SIAW, hosted by William Reed and focused on growth, resilience, and investment across the Asia-Pacific agri-food system. These events are held at the Suntec Convention Centre, with the anchor event at Level 3.
