Tata Power Renewable Energy and IndusInd Bank Launch Collateral-Free Solar Financing for MSEs
In a move to promote clean energy adoption among Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), Tata Power Renewable Energy has partnered with IndusInd Bank to introduce collateral-free solar financing of up to ₹2 crore. This financing initiative is aimed at easing the financial burden on MSEs, enabling them to invest in sustainable energy solutions without the need for traditional asset-backed security.
The program provides an accessible pathway for MSEs to transition to solar energy, helping reduce operational costs and support long-term energy savings. The partnership reflects Tata Power Renewable Energy’s commitment to expanding the accessibility of green energy across India, aligned with the country’s ambitious renewable energy goals. IndusInd Bank’s role in the partnership strengthens financial inclusivity by removing the barriers of collateral, allowing a broader range of enterprises to benefit from affordable, eco-friendly energy options.
Through this program, MSEs can also enhance their sustainability profile, which has become increasingly important in today’s business landscape. Additionally, the initiative is expected to encourage other financial institutions to create similar frameworks that foster a shift to renewable energy across business sectors.
Tata Power Renewable Energy has previously launched several initiatives to support green financing in India, and this latest partnership with IndusInd Bank marks a significant step in driving solar adoption in the micro and small business segments.
