RGREEN INVEST has held the final close of its INFRABRIDGE IV fund at its target size of nearly €500 million, more than doubling the size of its previous vintage. The Paris-based specialist announced the close on 30 June 2026, framing it as evidence of growing investor appetite for infrastructure debt strategies tied to the energy transition. The fund lends into the European lower mid-market, a segment the firm says remains underserved by traditional lenders even as financing needs across the sector climb.
The strategy targets the financing gap opening up as Europe works to strengthen its energy security, electrify its economy and speed up decarbonisation. INFRABRIDGE IV provides debt to smaller energy-transition projects that larger banks tend to overlook, positioning the firm in a part of the market where capital is scarcer and demand is rising.

The fund drew commitments from around twenty institutional investors, and the composition points to a widening base. Close to 70 percent of the investors were backing the strategy for the first time, and 30 percent of commitments came from international investors, which the firm presented as validation of its differentiated positioning and a milestone in the international expansion of its debt platform.
Roughly 70 percent of the fund has already been deployed, and it is expected to be fully invested by early 2027, a pace the firm attributes to the depth of its pipeline and sustained demand for energy-transition financing. The portfolio spans geothermal energy, biomethane, energy storage, and hybrid solar and wind projects paired with battery storage across several European markets. To support the growth, the firm is expanding its debt platform, led by Mathilde Ketoff, with recent hires including Ronald Gaultier as Senior Investment Director.

Nicolas Rochon, founder and chief executive of RGREEN INVEST, said the back-to-back closings of INFRAGREEN V and INFRABRIDGE IV marked another milestone in the firm's development and reflected investors' continued confidence in its ability to support Europe's energy transition across both equity and debt. He said the firm remained focused on expanding its platform as investment requirements across the sector continued to grow.
