Institutional investment manager Ostrum Asset Management has appointed Maud Pierre-Minuit as Head of Sustainable Transitions, reinforcing the firm’s focus on embedding environmental, social and governance considerations across its investment platform.
Ostrum, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, manages assets across insurance mandates, fixed income, equities, multi-asset strategies and quantitative solutions. The new leadership appointment signals a continued push to integrate sustainability priorities into both product development and client advisory work.
Strengthening ESG Strategy and Thematic Offerings
In her new role, Pierre-Minuit will coordinate the Sustainable Transitions team and oversee the rollout of Ostrum’s ESG strategy. Her mandate includes developing thematic investment offerings and supporting institutional clients as they incorporate climate and biodiversity considerations into portfolio construction.
As asset owners face mounting pressure to align with net zero targets, biodiversity frameworks and evolving disclosure standards, firms such as Ostrum are expanding internal expertise to translate sustainability commitments into investable strategies and measurable outcomes.
The position also reflects a broader shift within European asset management, where regulatory frameworks such as SFDR and growing demand for transition-aligned products are reshaping product pipelines and client engagement models.

Background in Sustainable Finance and Asset Management
Pierre-Minuit joins from I Care by BearingPoint, where she served as Senior Manager within the Sustainable Finance division. In that role, she advised financial institutions on dual materiality, assessing environmental impacts and financial risks at the entity, product and asset levels.
Earlier in her career, she spent several years at Groupama Asset Management, where she worked as a fund manager before leading fixed income and currency management. Her experience spans multi-asset class investing and sustainability advisory, a combination increasingly valued as climate and biodiversity risks become embedded in capital allocation decisions.
She succeeds Nathalie Beauvir, who has served as Head of Sustainable Transitions since 2024 and will now take on the role of Lead ESG Strategist at the firm.

Positioning for the Next Phase of Sustainable Investing
Olivier Houix, Chief Executive Officer of Ostrum Asset Management, stated that Pierre-Minuit’s experience in multi-asset management and sustainability will support the firm’s ambition to strengthen its responsible investment framework and deepen its role in supporting the transition process.
For institutional clients, the appointment underscores a continuing trend: sustainability is moving beyond standalone ESG products toward integrated transition strategies spanning asset classes, risk management and thematic allocations.
