ISS ESG has launched a customizable Climate Impact Report, designed to help investors assess their portfolios' climate-related risks, emissions, and alignment with global climate targets.
ISS ESG, the sustainable investment division of ISS STOXX, has introduced an enhanced version of its Climate Impact Report. This updated tool provides investors with customizable features to analyze and communicate climate-related portfolio targets, risks, and alignment with global scenarios.
The solution offers detailed insights into Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, transition risks, physical risks, and scenario analysis based on the International Energy Agency’s (IEA) Sustainable Development Scenario. The customizable approach addresses increasing market demand for flexible tools, incorporating recommendations from groups like the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ).
Key features include scenario alignment based on models from the IEA, NGFS, and UNEP’s One Earth Climate Model, with users able to choose between standard or advanced packages. The tool also supports analyses for medium- and long-term goals, such as 2030 and 2050 targets, and provides metrics like cross-point year and Implied Temperature Rise.
