GreenCo ESG Advisory has launched a new ESG data collection solution designed to improve the accuracy, consistency and traceability of sustainability information used in corporate reporting. The system extracts data from source documents such as electricity and water bills, fuel records, invoices and procurement records, then converts that information into structured datasets for reporting.
A central feature is the ability to show how reported figures were calculated. The solution can display source data, conversion factors, formulas and calculation steps rather than only presenting a final number, giving companies a clearer audit trail for internal review and helping identify missing information or inconsistencies before figures are included in ESG reports.

"The quality of an ESG report ultimately depends on the quality of the data behind it," said Max Tsang, Director and Co-Founder of GreenCo. "We developed this solution to make data collection more systematic and transparent, rather than simply automating data entry."
The platform can also process documents in different languages, convert units and consolidate multiple records into annual reporting datasets. GreenCo configures the system around each company’s reporting boundaries and existing methodologies, with the aim of reducing manual preparation while preserving established data collection processes. Stephanie Chan, Principal Consultant and Co-Owner of GreenCo, said the objective is to connect source documents with structured data and transparent calculations so companies can spend more time reviewing data quality and addressing gaps.
