Recognition at the UK’s Leading Agricultural Technology Showcase
European precision agriculture company FieldBee has been awarded Gold in the Digital Technology Innovation of the Year category at the LAMMA Show Innovation Awards 2026. The award recognises FieldBee Vision, the company’s latest modular vision-based system combining VisionSteer and VisionPro technologies, unveiled as part of its broader push toward intelligent, data-driven farming.
LAMMA is widely regarded as the UK’s premier platform for agricultural machinery and technology innovation, making the award a significant endorsement of FieldBee’s approach to next-generation precision and autonomy in farming.
From Precision Tools to an Integrated Farming Ecosystem
FieldBee Vision sits at the core of the newly launched myFieldBee ecosystem, a unified digital platform designed to bring navigation, autosteering, and ISOBUS-enabled implement control into a single operational environment. The system supports the full farming workflow, from planning and execution through to monitoring and reporting, reflecting a shift away from standalone tools toward connected farm management solutions.
Unlike conventional add-ons, FieldBee Vision is built as a modular retrofit system, allowing farmers, OEMs, and agricultural robotics developers to upgrade existing machinery without replacing entire fleets. This design lowers adoption barriers while enabling advanced capabilities typically associated with new-generation autonomous equipment.

AI, Vision and GNSS Converge in the Field
At the technical level, FieldBee Vision combines RTK-based autosteering with visual odometry powered by RGB and near-infrared cameras, supported by artificial intelligence. This architecture allows the system to maintain steering accuracy and application precision even in conditions where satellite signals alone are unreliable, such as dense canopies, uneven tramlines, or narrow and irregular vineyard rows.
The platform also integrates AI-driven crop sensing and enhanced vegetation index analysis, enabling real-time variable rate application. By generating application maps instantly during operations, the system optimises fertiliser and chemical inputs on the go, aligning productivity gains with sustainability objectives.
ISOBUS compatibility further allows seamless rate and section control across a wide range of implements, embedding FieldBee Vision into existing farm machinery ecosystems rather than requiring proprietary hardware.
Addressing Efficiency, Sustainability and Labour Constraints
According to FieldBee, the system is designed to respond to the evolving demands of modern agriculture, where accuracy alone is no longer sufficient. The focus is increasingly on intelligent autonomy that reduces input use, lowers environmental impact, and eases labour pressures.
By improving steering stability and application precision, FieldBee Vision helps cut overlaps, reduce fuel consumption, and limit fertiliser and pesticide use. At the same time, automated mapping and AI-assisted decision support reduce operator workload and fatigue, particularly in complex field layouts such as orchards and vineyards.
A company spokesperson noted that the system is built to function reliably across diverse conditions, enabling farmers to maintain performance and sustainability targets even in challenging operational environments.

Market Launch and Industry Engagement
FieldBee Vision will be showcased at LAMMA 2026 in Hall 19, Booth 19.644, with preorders opening ahead of its official commercial launch planned for the third quarter of 2026. The company expects strong interest from both farmers seeking retrofit solutions and equipment manufacturers exploring autonomous and semi-autonomous applications.
FieldBee’s Broader Position in Precision Agriculture
Founded in Europe, FieldBee develops CE- and TÜV-certified precision farming technologies with a focus on accessibility, reliability, and ease of use. Its PowerSteer autosteering systems have gained traction for their straightforward installation and compatibility across a wide range of tractors and implements, including ISOBUS-enabled equipment.
With FieldBee Vision and the myFieldBee ecosystem, the company is positioning itself at the intersection of precision agriculture, AI, and sustainable farming, reflecting a broader industry shift toward intelligent, connected, and resource-efficient agricultural systems.
