As the partnership's initial offering, the companies have launched a Climate Risk Assessment combining Arcadis' climate risk and adaptation expertise with Everbridge's critical event management and risk intelligence capabilities.

Climate hazard data alone, information about where flooding, extreme heat, wind, cold or sea-level rise are likely to occur and at what severity, tells an organization relatively little about its actual business risk without being connected to specific knowledge of where that organization's facilities, assets and operations are physically located and how they function. A generic regional flood risk map, for instance, doesn't indicate whether a specific factory sits on elevated ground within that region or directly in a floodplain, nor does it capture how a disruption to that specific facility would cascade through an organization's broader supply chain or operational continuity plans.
The partnership's Climate Risk Assessment addresses that gap by combining Arcadis' multi-hazard climate data with what the release describes as "asset and operational context," pairing climate science with the specific operational detail needed to translate a generic hazard probability into an organization-specific understanding of what could actually happen to its own facilities and business continuity if a given hazard materializes. Arcadis Global Director of Climate Technology George Longfoot framed that combination as essential, noting organizations "need to know which assets are most at risk, what the potential impacts could be, and where to focus investment."
