EcoVadis Appoints Dexter Galvin as “Climate Ambassador” to Accelerate Supply Chain Decarbonization

In a move set to boost global efforts toward net zero supply chains, business sustainability ratings leader EcoVadis has appointed Dexter Galvin as its new Climate Ambassador. Galvin, a seasoned sustainability executive and former Chief Commercial and Partnerships Officer at CDP, brings nearly two decades of experience in environmental disclosure and Scope 3 emissions strategy.

In his new position, Galvin will collaborate with EcoVadis partners and clients to drive supply chain decarbonization and represent the company at key global climate events. His focus will be on advancing reliable, high-quality carbon data to accelerate emissions reductions, particularly in Scope 3—the often hardest-to-measure emissions category tied to suppliers and upstream business activities.

During his 16-year tenure at CDP, Galvin led the global expansion of the organization’s flagship supply chain program, which grew to reach over 20,000 suppliers worldwide. He was central to shaping how corporations assess environmental performance and climate risks in their value chains.
