CSRWorks International has launched a new EcoVadis Small Company Package aimed at businesses that do not have dedicated in-house sustainability expertise. The service is designed to support both first-time EcoVadis participants and companies looking to improve their sustainability management practices before a future assessment.
The package combines assessment preparation with wider sustainability support. CSRWorks reviews existing practices, identifies gaps, helps strengthen policies and processes, improves documentation, organises supporting evidence and works with the client team through the submission process.

The service is aimed at smaller companies that may be asked by customers or supply-chain partners to provide an EcoVadis rating but do not have internal sustainability teams to manage the process. CSRWorks is positioning the package as an outsourced extension of the client’s sustainability function rather than a standalone assessment service.
The package can also be used by companies that have already completed an EcoVadis assessment and want to improve their next result. In those cases, CSRWorks focuses on the systems, implementation and evidence behind the rating rather than simply preparing the submission.

CSRWorks said the approach is intended to help companies strengthen actual sustainability practices so the EcoVadis assessment reflects their management systems and performance more accurately. Managing Director Rajesh Chhabara said many smaller businesses are under growing pressure from customers to demonstrate sustainability performance but often lack specialist internal resources.
CSRWorks is an EcoVadis Strategic Partner and said it has supported more than 500 EcoVadis assessments globally. The company also said more than half of its clients achieve Platinum or Gold ratings.
