BNP Paribas AM launches an €800M Venture & Impact platform, consolidating ecological transition, fintech, and impact investments. The move underscores BNP’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
March 6, 2025 – BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has launched a new Venture and Impact platform within its Private Assets division, consolidating its Ecological Transition and Impact, Fintech, and Solar Impulse Venture Fund initiatives. The platform debuts with €800 million ($879 million) in assets and is led by Yann Lagalaye.
A New Chapter for Sustainable Investment
Lagalaye, previously Head of Ecological Transition & Impact, now oversees an integrated team managing venture capital investments across natural capital, local development, and fintech innovation.
As part of the restructuring, BNPP AM also appointed Marinus Oosterbeek and Vincent Baillin as Managing Directors of Opera Tech Ventures (OTV)—BNP Paribas Group’s dedicated fintech venture capital fund.
