Auxxo, a Berlin-based early-stage venture capital firm, has raised €33.3 million at the final close of its second Female Catalyst Fund, up from €19 million raised by the fund's first vintage in 2021. The fund invests in pre-seed and seed stage startups across Europe with at least one female founder holding a minimum of 20 percent of founder shares, and is sector agnostic.

The fund's portfolio already includes 11 companies spanning climate data, AI, robotics, space, deep tech and healthcare, including Emidat, Resolutiion, Stanhope AI, Kito AI, Marble Imaging, Noxon, SEAL Robotics, BioOrbit, NanoStruct, Delta Labs and Radiogenesis. Limited partners include Aurum Impact, EnBW New Ventures, Cherry Ventures and Speedinvest, alongside family offices, business angels and founders across Europe, with the European Investment Fund serving as anchor investor. More than 50 percent of the fund's limited partners are women.
Alongside the final close, Auxxo launched a pan-European Founder Matchmaking Platform designed to connect founders with potential co-founders, aimed at helping turn early-stage ideas into companies. The company said women comprise only 19 percent of founders in Germany. Auxxo Principal Alena Redeker said "the numbers are clear: we still lack our fair share of female founders, only 19% of founders in Germany are women," adding that the platform aims "to change this by helping ambitious entrepreneurial talent form diverse teams."
