Abu Dhabi Unveils MARSDNA to Revolutionize Maritime ESG Sustainability

Abu Dhabi has introduced MARSDNA, a state-of-the-art tool aimed at driving sustainability and ESG progress within the maritime sector. Developed by Maqta Technologies Group in partnership with Abu Dhabi Maritime, this free digital solution provides organizations with tailored ESG assessments and actionable insights to enhance sustainability practices.

MARSDNA integrates global ESG standards, including metrics from the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the International Maritime Organization, making it a comprehensive solution for diverse users. Accessible through the Abu Dhabi Mobility and Abu Dhabi Maritime websites, the platform simplifies ESG strategy development for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and larger entities alike.

Abu Dhabi Mobility, announcing the initiative, emphasized its commitment to sustainability in the maritime sector:

“The launch of MARSDNA, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Maritime, reflects our ongoing commitment to achieving sustainability goals and supporting environmental, social, and governance initiatives within the maritime sector.”

Initially targeting five maritime value chain segments, the tool is set to expand, aiming to become a global benchmark for maritime ESG practices.
