Position summary

TÜV Rheinland is seeking a Team Leader, Scheme Management, ESG Solutions, to provide technical leadership to team members and take disciplinary responsibility for direct reports, guiding their development in day-to-day collaboration. Working in close coordination with the Global Practice Head, you will embed quality assurance measures in the internal IT platform, drive coordination and harmonization within the team, and support the further development of strategy, processes, and tools across TÜV Rheinland's ESG schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Technical leadership: Provide technical leadership to all team members and support them in aligning their work with the team's quality and performance expectations.
• People management: Take disciplinary responsibility for direct reports and guide their development in day-to-day collaboration.
• Coordination with leadership: Coordinate closely with the Global Practice Head to align on priorities, decisions, and overall direction.
• Quality assurance: Embed quality assurance measures in the internal IT platform so rules are applied consistently and monitored on a permanent basis.
• Harmonization: Drive information exchange, coordination, calibration, and harmonization within the team, and plan internal audits, management reviews, and cross-functional training.
• Problem solving: Support structured problem solving in cases such as complaints, investigations, or external audit findings, and contribute analyses and input to develop strategy, processes, and tools.

Team and stakeholders

You will lead a team of direct reports, coordinate closely with the Global Practice Head, and work across functions on audits, management reviews, and training in a global setup.

Requirements:

• Sound knowledge of international ESG standards and schemes, including decarbonization approaches, reporting services, and applicable international regulatory requirements.
• Experience in ESG business, with a solid understanding of relevant accreditation and recognition procedures, including auditor competency requirements.
• Proven people leadership skills, combined with intercultural competence and practical experience in an international business environment.
• Business-fluent written and spoken English; good German is an advantage.
• Proficiency in common digital workplace tools, especially MS Office, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a global setup, as the role can be performed from locations worldwide.
