Position summary
Lenovo is hiring an EMEA Sustainability Solution Designer within its Solutions & Services Group (SSG), based in Farnborough. The role shapes and develops innovative asset recovery and sustainability solutions that help customers maximise value from their IT assets while supporting circular economy objectives, reporting to the Sr. Manager, EMEA Sustainability Solution Design.

Key responsibilities
- Assess customer needs by partnering with Lenovo teams, vendors and customers to evaluate business processes, IT environments and asset recovery requirements.
- Design solutions by translating requirements into scalable asset recovery architectures aligned with Lenovo service capabilities.
- Build business cases and value propositions that help sales teams demonstrate benefits and win new opportunities.
- Advise stakeholders as a subject matter expert on asset recovery services and best practices.
- Optimise processes by reviewing and challenging existing approaches to deliver customer-centric outcomes.
- Track industry trends in certifications, emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance solution quality.
Team and stakeholders
Part of Lenovo's Solutions & Services Group, reporting to the Sr. Manager, EMEA Sustainability Solution Design, and working across customers, vendors, sales teams and internal stakeholders throughout EMEA.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, operations or a related field, with strong understanding of business processes and technology-driven services.
- Proven experience managing projects, product lifecycles, and customer and vendor contracts.
- Strong knowledge of electronic product end-of-life management (asset disposition, recovery, refurbishment, recycling or related lifecycle services).
- Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies across multiple countries or regions.
- Solid background in vendor management and business governance, building strong partnerships.
- Advanced analytical skills, able to interpret large, complex datasets and support data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- 7+ years in solution development, contract creation and negotiation, business development, project management or services operations; ITAD experience a strong advantage.
