Job Description

Join us and spread your wings!

Sustainability Reporting means much more than complying with regulations; it is part of a key strategic priority for us as a company. As a primary objective, it needs to be incorporated in everything we do, in every process we manage, across all departments, at all levels of the organisation.

As part of the Global Data Team, you will act as a bridge between Business and IT where you are responsible for understanding business needs and managing complex cross-functional projects for the development of our Sustainability Roadmap. With your deep understanding of sustainability regulations/innovations/technologies as well as technical background and affinity, you will translate business and process requirements into functional concepts as a basis for technical implementation. You will act as a key player to drive business process improvements as well as support Sustainability planning & simulation.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING & PLANNING

You'll work on the development of data integration and planning system solutions in the area of Sustainability by collecting, analysing and challenging business requirements. For this you will collaborate closely with our Finance Planning development team to understand the integrated planning processes & solutions at Red Bull. Using your Business, Sustainability and technical expertise, you'll help define requirements and design processes and data flows to support Red Bull's Sustainability Roadmap and be prepared for steering Sustainability initiatives. You'll act as a translator between business and IT, responsible for defining scope, and for structuring and documenting the requirements, while ensuring alignment with all cross-functional stakeholders. Therefore, an understanding of business content, cross functional processes and complex solutions is essential.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

In this role, you’ll lead sustainability data integration work packages and ensure timely execution. You’ll define a detailed project plan with realistic project timelines in close alignment with all involved departments, follow up on the achievement of milestones during the project phases, document them in our project management tools and make sure that deadlines are met. Moreover, you’ll set the right priorities and communicate pro-actively with all involved parties, identify bottlenecks and find alternatives to remove roadblocks.

DEVELOPMENT, DOCUMENTATION, TESTING & SUPPORT

You'll collect business and process requirements, coordinate them with cross-functional stakeholders and translate them into structured and detailed requirements documentation (so-called BSS – Business Scope Statement) for the IT implementation. You'll be responsible to test all implemented solutions to ensure high quality and functional integration of all technical developments. After successful testing, you'll deliver the relevant detailed internal technical and process documentation. You will also prepare together with Business and IT the cut-over plan for the go-live, provide detailed training and conduct a final handover to all stakeholders. In addition, you’ll be responsible for 2nd level support for the newly developed solutions.

BUSINESS PARTNERING

You’ll act as a reliable business partner for Sustainability, Finance, Data, IT, Operations, Legal etc. as well as a "translator/link" between Business and IT. To become a recognized business partner, you’ll communicate efficiently and effectively with all stakeholders and provide insights on sustainability data projects.

BUSINESS & TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

With your business expertise (e.g. CSRD, GHG, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD), technical expertise (e.g. systems, interfaces, data integration, planning, data modelling, reporting) and business process management, you’ll implement business concepts and data modelling structures.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • 3-5 years’ work experience in Sustainability and/or in the Business Intelligence area with project involvement.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting Systems, ideally SAP ERP-S4, SAP BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau or any other BI solutions.
  • Finance Planning process & system know how is a strong plus
  • Up-to-date on sustainability regulations and developments/innovations
  • Data-driven, data-enabling and solution-oriented person with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical concepts/data models and document processes
  • Ability to work across multiple teams in a large organization, align goals and drive overall success independent of organizational boundaries
  • Professional communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment on different projects in parallel
  • Passionate about sustainability, environmental protection and social initiatives and feel motivated in your work as a result.

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,509 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.

As an employer, we value diversity and support people in developing their potential and strengths, realizing their ideas and seizing opportunities. We believe passionately that employing a diverse workforce is central to our success. We welcome applications from all members of society irrespective of age, skin colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation or origin.
