Position summary
AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Sustainability Data Analytics Specialist II to support and enhance its global sustainability program. The role focuses on analyzing and reporting carbon emissions, identifying opportunities for emission reduction, and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards across the company's transportation and logistics activities.

This role gives AIT the emissions data and analysis it needs to understand and reduce its environmental footprint across a global logistics network. By producing accurate, standards-compliant carbon reporting and supporting decarbonization initiatives, you help the company track progress, meet regulatory expectations, and identify practical ways to cut emissions.
Key responsibilities
- Carbon emission reporting: Collect, analyze, and report data on carbon emissions across transportation and other logistics activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards such as the GHG Protocol and the GLEC Framework, and developing databases and software tools to streamline data collection and reporting while coordinating with operational groups on data accuracy.
- Decarbonization initiatives: Support the design and implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce AIT's environmental footprint, including projects related to renewable fuels, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate internally and externally to promote sustainability practices and drive engagement in sustainability initiatives.
- Reporting and communications: Assist with annual sustainability surveys and the annual sustainability report.
- Research and analysis: Research emerging trends, best practices, and technological advancements, provide insights and recommendations, and give updates on applicable policies by geography.
Team and stakeholders
You will support AIT's global sustainability program, coordinating with operational groups on data accuracy and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote and drive sustainability initiatives.
Key details
- Compensation: $65,180 to $97,760, which may vary by geography, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or another related field (required).
- 2+ years of business-related sustainability or ESG education or experience (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, OneDrive, and Zoom or similar.
- Experience with ESG/sustainability in a corporate setting.
- Experience preferred with carbon emission reporting software or frameworks (GLEC Framework, GHG Protocol, EcoTransIT, Lune, or similar).
- Experience preferred with data analytics or data visualization software (Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated, with a passion for sustainability and decarbonization.
- A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, a growth mindset, and a customer-service focus.
