Position summary
Worldly is hiring a remote Sustainability Data Analyst to ensure the accuracy, consistency and integrity of the sustainability data it provides to customers. This hands-on role works directly with large, complex sustainability datasets, partnering across teams to validate calculations and keep outputs reliable and defensible.

Key responsibilities
- Work with sustainability data to support the development and maintenance of Worldly's impact content.
- Run QA and UAT on sustainability calculations, metrics and content to ensure accuracy and consistency across the platform.
- Maintain assessment files based on stakeholder specifications, and manage analytical content governing customer data exports.
- Resolve data issues by tracing outputs back to source data and underlying logic.
- Query data with SQL to support internal and external customer needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering and customer-facing teams, and improve automation and documentation.

Key details
- Base salary $75,000 to $90,000 plus 5% annual bonus potential and incentive stock options.
- Benefits include 90% employee premium coverage, 401(k) with up to 4% match, 100% paid parental leave and unlimited PTO. Occasional travel may be required.
Requirements
Essential
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong desire to understand how data and calculations work end-to-end.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (sustainability, environmental engineering, data science).
- 2+ years in an analytical, data-focused or consulting role.
- Strong SQL proficiency and comfort working with raw data.
- Solid understanding of sustainability concepts such as environmental impact measurement or carbon accounting.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal oversight.
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Claude/AI fluency.
Preferred
- Experience with Python for data analysis or validation.
- Comfort building your own non-production solutions to analytical and automation problems.
- Background in statistics or quantitative analysis.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks or standards.
- Experience with customer-facing data products or platforms.
