Position summary

Chanel is hiring a Specialist, Nature Programmes in London to support the design, delivery, and scaling of nature programmes across the House. Sitting in the Global Sustainability team and reporting to the Senior Manager for Nature Programmes, the role works at the intersection of strategy and on-the-ground implementation across water, forests, and landscape projects, helping turn ambitious commitments into tangible outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Support programme delivery by helping design, deliver, and scale nature programmes across water, forests, and landscape projects.
• Contribute to ecosystem projects by supporting work that restores and regenerates ecosystems, strengthens climate and water resilience, and supports community livelihoods.
• Build partnerships by working with internal teams, suppliers, NGOs, and implementation partners to drive collective action.
• Generate insights and evidence by tracking progress and demonstrating the value of investing in nature to guide decisions.
• Develop tools and methodologies by supporting innovative approaches that strengthen how nature outcomes are delivered and measured.
• Connect strategy and implementation by linking global sustainability ambitions with practical action on the ground.

Team and stakeholders

The role sits in Chanel's Global Sustainability team, reports to the Senior Manager for Nature Programmes, and engages colleagues across sustainability and wider internal functions as well as suppliers, NGOs, consultants, and implementation partners.

Key details

• Based in London, full time, with occasional travel, particularly to Paris.
• Portfolio spans forests, water resilience, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable sourcing.

Requirements

• Foundational experience supporting environmental, agricultural, and/or development projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to turn complex information into clear insights.
• Strong organisation and project management skills, including managing trackers and multiple priorities.
• Ability to build positive relationships and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and navigate emerging topics in a fast-evolving field.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
