Position summary
Willmott Dixon is seeking a proactive Social Value Manager to lead community engagement and skills development on projects across the North West. Reporting to the Senior Social Value Manager, you will support the company's Now or Never Sustainability Strategy, playing a critical role in aligning with customer priorities and delivering meaningful, measurable social value.

Key responsibilities
- Delivery: Plan, manage, and deliver social value activities that reflect customer and business needs.
- Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor on social value for teams, frameworks, and partners.
- Collaboration: Drive collaboration across teams and supply chain partners to embed social value in projects.
- Bids and tenders: Support bid and tender processes, contributing social value insights and attending customer events.
- Performance tracking: Track and report on project performance against KPIs, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Team and stakeholders
The role is part of the Sustainability Team, reports to the Senior Social Value Manager, and works with project teams, customers, frameworks, and supply chain partners.
Key details
- Work arrangement: Hybrid, working on-site with project teams and visiting customers, as well as from the Oldham office or home; a full UK driving licence is required.

Requirements:
- Experience in social value delivery and customer-focused solution design; construction experience is a plus but not essential.
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills, with a genuine passion for social sustainability.
- Proven ability to lead social value initiatives, inspire stakeholders, and drive impactful change.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) and a full UK driving licence.
- Preferred: a degree in Social Sustainability or a related field, and experience in facilitation or coaching.
