Position summary

Amcor is hiring a Senior Sustainability & Marketing Analyst (remote, US) to support Amcor Rigid Packaging North America's sustainability strategy and commercial growth through data management, reporting, compliance, market intelligence and marketing initiatives. The role administers key sustainability platforms, leads life cycle assessment (LCA) work, manages regulatory and compliance programs, and supports internal and external reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sustainability data by administering the Altruistiq platform, running quarterly data validation and supporting Scope 3 GHG reporting to the GHG Protocol.
• Build dashboards and analytics across PCR, recyclability and transportation, automating data pulls and maintaining large SKU/customer datasets.
• Lead LCAs to substantiate environmental claims and present findings at conferences, expos and customer meetings.
• Run regulatory and compliance programs including EPR reporting, the Sedex ethical program, recyclability reporting and audit support (Intertek).
• Deliver market intelligence on trends, competitors and technologies, supporting strategic planning, M&A and business development.
• Support marketing by developing customer presentations, sales collateral and product-launch communications.

Team and stakeholders

Partners closely with Commercial, R&D, Operations and Corporate Sustainability, supporting manufacturing sites, customers and reporting to Amcor Limited.

Key details

• Remote role across six US states; office/home environment with occasional travel.
• Salary $85,600 to $117,700 plus incentive plan eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, marketing or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years in sustainability, environmental management, market research, marketing/business analytics or a related analytical role.
• Demonstrated experience with sustainability data platforms and GHG reporting frameworks (GHG Protocol, Scope 1/2/3).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and data management skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Office; excellent communication; experience managing large datasets and translating data into insights.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Altruistiq, Sedex or similar ESG platforms.
• Familiarity with LCA methodology and tools, and EPR regulations.
• Experience supporting third-party audits.
• BI/data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of the packaging, plastics or manufacturing industry.
