  • Integrity: Safeguard product and financial integrity by reconciling sustainability positions and inventory across platforms and validating transactional data.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate across Finance, Risk, IT, and Legal to improve processes, strengthen controls, and contribute to technology and straight-through-processing initiatives, and build trusted relationships with clients and external stakeholders.

Team and stakeholders

The role works with certification bodies, Sales, Operations, Finance, Risk, IT, and Legal, and with clients and external stakeholders across geographies.

Requirements:

  • University degree in business administration, environmental science, engineering, law, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4+ years of experience in product, environmental, or sustainability compliance, ideally within biomass, renewable fuels, or renewable gas trading.
  • Solid understanding of renewable fuels, gas trading, energy efficiency, or other regulated environmental commodities and their regulatory frameworks.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, calculations, operational processes, and data quality control, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A process and systems mindset with strong data-analysis skills, plus a collaborative, client-oriented approach across functions and geographies.
  • A self-starter with strong organization and time management; multi-country compliance, French CEE, French or Spanish, energy trading, product stewardship, or voluntary schemes (Better Biomass, EcoEnergy) an advantage.
