Job Description
Position summary
BAM Nuttall's UK & Ireland Infrastructure segment is hiring a Senior Environmental Sustainability Advisor with a strong carbon management background to coordinate carbon deliverables in its Transport Sector business. Why this role matters
Transport infrastructure construction is carbon-intensive, and whole life carbon management is increasingly central to how projects are designed and delivered. Compiling carbon impact assessments and championing reduction opportunities across the supply chain is what drives substantial carbon savings while meeting client and PAS2080 requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Identify carbon opportunities by planning and chairing carbon meetings and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of whole life carbon reduction opportunities across the supply chain.
- Manage carbon data by compiling whole life carbon emissions data, preparing reports using client tools, and quantifying potential savings.
- Deliver reporting by developing and updating the Carbon Management Plan and life cycle impact assessment reports and meeting client carbon requirements.
- Engage the supply chain by acting as primary liaison for clients, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers on carbon reduction.
- Drive continuous improvement by championing carbon reduction innovation, sharing best practice and case studies, and delivering carbon training.
Team and stakeholders
The role reports to the Sector Carbon Manager and project Environmental leads, and works with clients, contracting partners, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers across BAM's Transport Sector business.
Key details
