Position overview
Establish and lead a Center of Excellence for the strategic and operational development of risk management and ESG initiatives within the global supply chain. The role serves as a central point of contact for best practices, innovations, and governance in the area of risk and sustainability.
Your Responsibilities
- Definition of standards, guidelines, and KPIs for risk management and ESG compliance
- Establishment of a governance framework for monitoring ESG risks
- Training and raising awareness among employees
- Support with audits and regulatory requirements
- Integration of risk management into procurement, logistics, and production processes
- Methodologies and tools: PowerBI, AI-supported risk management tools, TCFD, CSRD and GRI-compliant reporting- methodology or frameworks, supply chain mapping and scenario analyses
- Future perspectives-use of AI for early risk detection, impact on global ESG initiatives and innovation projects, automation of risk reporting and compliance audits
- Qualifications
- Strong communication skills across multiple functions
- Analytical mindset- translate requirements into actions and processes
- Great experience with double materiality assessment and ESG materiality analyses
- Deep understanding of Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive
- English language on advanced business level
- Participation on site in Paderborn (3 times per a week)
- German language is welcomed
