Position summary
Savills is seeking an experienced individual to join its Energy Team, based in London, Perth, or Edinburgh, advising clients across the UK on a broad spectrum of energy and infrastructure technologies including onshore wind, solar PV, and energy storage. This is a varied role encompassing strategic site identification and evaluation (considering land, planning, and grid connectivity), land assembly on behalf of renewable energy developers, and leading negotiations on Heads of Terms and Option & Lease agreements.

This role helps bring renewable energy projects to life by securing the land and agreements they depend on. By identifying and evaluating sites, assembling land for developers, and leading negotiations, you help deliver onshore wind, solar, and storage infrastructure across the UK while strengthening Savills' client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Site identification: Undertake strategic site identification and evaluation, considering land, planning, and grid connectivity.
- Land assembly: Lead land assembly on behalf of renewable energy developers.
- Negotiations: Lead negotiations on Heads of Terms and Option & Lease agreements.
- Client management: Act as a primary point of contact for client enquiries, taking a proactive lead role in project delivery.
- Business development: Work autonomously while contributing to business development and strengthening client relationships.
Team and stakeholders
You will join the Savills Energy Team (around 40 people across Land & Tenant, Energy Development, Consultancy, and Capital Advisory service lines), part of the Savills Earth platform, acting as a primary point of contact for clients and working with renewable energy developers, landowners, and investors.
