You will be responsible for


  • Government Incentive and Grant Acquisition: Identify, apply for, win, and manage the ongoing compliance of federal, state, and local government incentives relevant for Einride.
  • Transportation Policy and Regulatory Affairs: Serve as Einride's primary US advocate with transportation authorities to resolve regulatory hurdles—such as weight allowance permits—enabling heavy-duty electric trucks to haul high-density payloads at parity with ICE vehicles
  • Sustainability Policy & Industry Intelligence: Monitor and engage with the evolving policy landscape across book and claim, carbon markets, zero-emission zones, SBTi, and GLEC frameworks; translate learnings into concrete strategic recommendations for commercial and operational workstreams


You will bring


  • 8+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, sustainability, or public funding within the transportation, energy, or clean technology sector
  • Preferred if have the following subject matter expertise: securing government grants and incentives, US clean transportation policy landscape, carbon credit markets / renewable energy certificates/ sustainability reporting frameworks, established relationships with government entities in the clean transportation or energy space
  • Excellent in program management, written and verbal communication, cross-functional collaboration, and leveraging AI tools

  • Salary range: $155,000 – $170,000 per year for New York City candidates

This is a full-time position based in Austin, TX or New York, NY.
