Position summary
Bright Renewables is seeking a Project Manager to give direction to complex international renewable energy projects. As the company grows rapidly and delivers increasingly complex projects within the energy transition, this role keeps oversight of international, technical projects and takes the lead. You are responsible from start to finish, from the point of sale through to installation and commissioning on site, steering multiple national and international projects while safeguarding progress, budget, and quality and ensuring strong collaboration between all internal and external parties.

By owning projects end to end and coordinating the teams and suppliers behind them, you ensure they are delivered on budget, on time, and to quality across more than 30 countries.
Key responsibilities
- Project delivery: Work on multiple national and international projects, keeping oversight of progress, budget, and quality.
- Client contact: Maintain contact with clients on all project-related matters and processes.
- Budget ownership: Hold end responsibility for the project budget.
- Team coordination: Coordinate the work of the project team, including project engineers, designers, fitters, and commissioning specialists.
- Supplier alignment: Align with suppliers on both commercial and technical matters.
- Reporting: Report periodically on project progress.
Team and stakeholders
You will coordinate a project team of project engineers, designers, fitters, and commissioning specialists, and work with clients and suppliers on commercial and technical matters, both internally and externally. The role reports into the Manager Projects.
Key details
- Contract: One-year contract with the prospect of a permanent contract.
- Travel: Willingness to travel regularly, including internationally.
- Benefits: Market-based salary (depending on experience and education), annual profit share (paid in September after 12 months of service), 24 holiday days (with the option to buy up to 16 more), 8 percent holiday pay, commuting allowance (€0.23/km), a one-off home-working setup allowance up to €250, company laptop and phone, a strong pension scheme, and an attractive bicycle lease scheme.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's (HBO) or academic level of working and thinking, for example in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience as a project leader in the oil and gas sector, technical production, or machine and equipment manufacturing.
- Leadership ability and experience managing project teams.
- Experience with procurement processes and (financial) progress reporting.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
- Willingness to travel regularly, including internationally.
