Position summary

As a Platform & Sustainability Expert within the Delivery Team, you will help customers turn their sustainability ambitions into practical, high-quality outcomes through the implementation and adoption of Sweep. You will lead and support customer onboarding and implementation projects, translate customer requirements into effective configurations, workflows, and ways of working, and help customers build long-term autonomy on the platform, working directly with customers and alongside consulting and reseller partners, in both English and German.

By owning implementations, configuring the platform for carbon accounting and reporting, and providing sustainability advisory in English and German, the P&SE drives time-to-value, customer health, and the quality of delivery across the wider Delivery team.

Key responsibilities

• Delivery and implementation: Own or support customer onboarding and implementation projects from planning through handover, configuring Sweep for sustainability, carbon accounting, reporting, data management, surveys, workflows, and historical data, and translating customer needs into practical solutions.
• Platform expertise and enablement: Demonstrate strong knowledge of Sweep's modules, deliver tailored training, demonstrations, and enablement in English or German, and turn recurring challenges into guidance, templates, and playbooks; use Sweep's AI features responsibly, reinforcing human review and data-quality checks.
• Project coordination and stakeholders: Manage multiple customer and partner engagements, own project plans, timelines, actions, dependencies, and documentation, and identify delivery risks early with clear escalation.
• Sustainability advisory and product feedback: Apply advanced carbon accounting and sustainability knowledge to engagements, explain assumptions, methodologies, regulations, and disclosure requirements clearly in English and German, and turn customer feedback into insights for Product and Engineering.
• Customer relationship and success: Build trusted relationships, manage expectations around scope and timelines, navigate difficult conversations, keep delivery focused on time-to-value, and share insights with Customer Success, Growth, and Product.

Team and stakeholders

The role works within the Delivery Team, directly with customers, alongside consulting and reseller partners, and closely with Customer Success Managers and the wider Sweep ecosystem.

• Work arrangement: Hybrid work model, with hiring focused around Sweep's head offices in Paris, London, Montpellier, and Denver.
• Language: Professional fluency in English and German is mandatory, including customer meetings, workshops, training, written communication, and difficult conversations.

Requirements:

• Experience in customer delivery, consulting, project management, sustainability, carbon accounting, SaaS implementation, or a related field, owning customer-facing projects or relationships independently.
• Strong knowledge of carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, climate frameworks, and practical sustainability challenges, applied in customer, business, or operational contexts.
• Comfort with digital platforms, data-driven workflows, and multiple stakeholders and timelines, plus experience facilitating workshops, delivering training, and presenting.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and experience working across functions or with external partners.
• Professional fluency in English and German (mandatory); a relevant degree is a plus, but equivalent practical experience is equally valued.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in a professional setting.
