Why this role matters
AWS is paving the way for the future of data center power supply and carbon-free energy procurement, building a sustainable business for customers and the planet through engagement with policymakers, grid operators, and stakeholders. - Support policy submissions before FERC — including formal comments, responses to requests for information, and interventions — and develop advocacy materials such as position papers, talking points, regulatory filings, and briefing materials.
- Support government outreach to Congress and the Administration on energy market, grid reliability, and infrastructure policy, and advise business partners on the federal energy regulatory landscape.
