Position summary

Wolt, part of DoorDash, is hiring a Lead, Global ESG Reporting Strategy to build and lead DoorDash's global ESG reporting function from the ground up — the first dedicated strategic owner of ESG disclosures across the company. Sitting in the Sustainability & Community Impact team within Policy and Communications, the role brings clarity and structure to a fast-growing regulatory landscape across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.

Why this role matters

ESG disclosure requirements are proliferating across jurisdictions, from the EU's CSRD to California's SB 253 and Australia's Modern Slavery Act. Building the strategy, infrastructure, and governance to meet these obligations, while owning GHG measurement and Scopes 1 & 2 strategy, is what keeps DoorDash's disclosures coherent, credible, and audit-ready as assurance requirements mature.

Key responsibilities

• Own disclosure strategy by determining how, when, and at what ambition DoorDash responds to mandatory regulations and voluntary frameworks across the EU, UK, US, Canada, and Australia.
• Act as the internal expert and cross-functional lead, aligning Legal, Finance, IR, Communications, Policy, HR, and Operations around a coherent approach.
• Build reporting infrastructure by establishing the processes and governance needed to meet disclosure obligations efficiently.
• Manage partner data requests by serving as primary contact for enterprise ESG data requests and building scalable processes for questionnaires and disclosures.
• Oversee GHG measurement by working with a measurement vendor, coordinating data collection, and ensuring an audit-ready approach.
• Own Scopes 1 & 2 strategy by building a forward-looking plan to drive operational efficiency across facilities.

The role sits in DoorDash's Sustainability & Community Impact team (Policy and Communications) across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo, aligning Legal, Finance, Technical Accounting, IR, Communications, Policy, HR, and Operations, plus enterprise partners and a GHG measurement vendor.

Requirements

• Meaningful experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, compliance, or a closely related field, with hands-on ownership of frameworks such as CSRD/ESRS, TCFD, GRI, SASB, Modern Slavery, and/or CDP.
• A genuine builder mindset — having created reporting infrastructure or processes from scratch.
• Strong cross-functional influencer able to align Legal, Finance, IR, and Operations without direct authority.
• Excellent written communication, from regulatory disclosures to strategy memos and senior briefings.
• A principled, business-grounded view of ESG, able to advise leadership on where to lead versus meet requirements.
