Position summary

JPMorgan Chase is hiring an Analyst or Associate for its Centre for Carbon Transition (CCT) within the Commercial & Investment Bank in London. The team leads target-setting and management of firmwide portfolio-level carbon intensity targets, the green financing goal and the Energy Supply Financing Ratio, and provides transition insights for senior leadership, banking partners and clients.

Why this role matters

As the firm aligns its financing portfolio toward net zero by 2050, CCT turns carbon analytics and transition insight into decisions across the bank. This role helps evaluate client transition strategies and portfolio carbon performance while building the analyst's own decarbonisation expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Support net-zero alignment by helping develop and implement the firm's strategy to align its financing portfolio with net zero emissions by 2050.
• Evaluate client transitions by assessing clients' transition strategies and the credibility of their decarbonisation plans.
• Own carbon analytics at both the transaction level and across industry portfolios.
• Translate outputs into executive-ready recommendations for stakeholder engagement and senior forums.
• Support external engagement and events.

Team and stakeholders

Works closely with the New York and London-based CCT team, interfacing with internal counterparts across the firm and with clients, within the Commercial & Investment Bank.
