Position summary

Watershed is the enterprise sustainability platform, used by companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting including CSRD, and drive real decarbonization. The Implementation team is looking for a customer-focused problem solver to lead end-to-end deployments of Watershed for its largest and most complex strategic accounts, translating goals into clear plans, orchestrating cross-functional work, and building customer confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Own implementations end to end from kickoff to wrap-up, running discovery, mapping milestones, managing risks, and driving crisp execution.
• Be the customer’s primary contact during implementations, building high-trust relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Design creative solutions that meet customer needs using existing product and services, while generating insight into potential future needs.
• Develop deep product expertise to guide customers on what is possible and make smart trade-offs, including enablements on complex Watershed features.
• Coordinate internal and customer teams, sequencing dependencies and renegotiating timelines when inputs change.
• Act as the voice of the customer to product and engineering, surfacing patterns, blockers, and feature requests that inform the roadmap.
• Build scalable playbooks, tooling, and processes that make implementations faster, more consistent, and measurable over time.

Team and stakeholders

You will join Watershed’s Implementation team (Customer department) and partner closely with product, engineering, advisory, customer success, and external partners.

Key details

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Watershed’s New York office four days per week.

Requirements

• 3 to 6+ years in management consulting, solutions, or software implementation, preferably at a B2B SaaS company, with experience leading customers through complex programs or projects.
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and thrive in a high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail balanced with the ability to zoom out and see the big picture.
• A systems thinker who brings structure, clarity, and momentum to ambiguous problems.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences to introduce new concepts and drive alignment.
• Comfort running multiple workstreams simultaneously and keeping stakeholders accountable.
• A keen eye for identifying risks and driving mitigation plans.
• An early adopter of AI solutions, excited to use them to drive impact.
