Job Description
Position summary
UNDO, one of the world’s largest carbon removal companies and a winner of the $100M XPRIZE Carbon Removal competition for its enhanced rock weathering (ERW) technology, is seeking a Head of Carbon Partnerships to lead its commercial growth. Reporting to the CEO, the role builds and closes a pipeline of significant carbon removal offtake deals and acts as a strategic partner to both UNDO and its customers, with real influence over go-to-market strategy and revenue trajectory.
Why this role matters
As UNDO scales ERW as a carbon removal pathway and launches the UNDO Platform for project developers globally, this senior commercial leadership role positions ERW as a scalable, sustainable carbon removal option among the offtake community and drives the revenue that underpins UNDO’s climate impact.
Key responsibilities
- Develop commercial strategy by creating an actionable go-to-market strategy, including pricing, packaging, and contracting approaches for multi-year carbon removal offtake agreements.
- Own the forecast by maintaining a rigorous, probability-adjusted sales pipeline with clear timing to signature/cash and CRM discipline.
- Represent the market by reporting product and industry insights to leadership to support product development, financial modeling, and identification of new geographies and project characteristics, and monitoring voluntary and compliance market trends.
- Structure deals by proposing alternate deal structures aligning customer interests and risk tolerance with UNDO’s financial modeling to unlock new customers or segments.
- Advise buyers by acting as expert consultant on how buyers think about ERW, including procurement criteria, risk, durability, MRV, portfolio construction, and contracting.
- Build and close offtakes by managing a global pipeline of significant offtake agreements across corporate buyers and brokers/intermediaries, structuring multi-year deals with Finance and Delivery teams.
- Coordinate due diligence by marshalling UNDO’s team to meet customers’ complex due diligence requirements and becoming a trusted advisor on high-quality, scalable carbon removal.
- Establish partnerships with intermediaries to drive further access to offtake partners and spot buyers.
Team and stakeholders
Reporting to the CEO, the role collaborates with Finance and Delivery teams and builds relationships with corporate buyers, brokers/intermediaries, and senior client stakeholders across time zones and cultures.
Key details
This is a permanent, fully remote UK-based role. Benefits include a competitive salary and OTE/incentive scheme, stock options in UNDO, private healthcare, 25 days’ annual leave plus public holidays, and an industry-leading pension (UNDO matching plus 3%, up to 17% total).
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of voluntary carbon markets, up to date with industry news, scientific advancements, and upcoming opportunities.
- A track record of closing complex, significant carbon deals — offtake agreements or comparable long-cycle contracts.
- Experience defining, building, and bringing to market innovative products and commercial structures.
- Proven experience building relationships with senior stakeholders at strategic and tactical levels.
- Demonstrable experience balancing near-term revenue with long-term customer value and delivery feasibility.
- Proven ability to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous, undefined deliverables.
- High confidence building relationships across time zones and cultures, adapting style as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate excitement and engagement through brand positioning.
- Self-starter energy, eager to identify and win new business opportunities.
- Passion for climate tech, sustainability, and science-driven innovation.

UNDO
UNDO is a world-leading carbon dioxide removal project developer specialising in enhanced rock weathering. Enhanced rock weathering is a nature-based carbon removal technology that permanently removes CO₂ from the atmosphere. It accelerates the natural geological process of weathering, which has helped regulate Earth’s climate for millions of years. UNDO does this by spreading finely crushed silicate rock onto agricultural land, where rainwater, plants, and soil microbes help speed up the weathering reaction. As the rock breaks down, CO₂ dissolved in rainwater is converted into bicarbonate and safely transported through soils and waterways, eventually reaching the ocean, where it is stored over geological timescales. By working with existing mining, quarrying, logistics, and agricultural infrastructure, UNDO is building a scalable pathway for permanent carbon removal that can be deployed alongside normal farming operations. This approach is supported by UNDO’s proprietary technology platform, NEWTON, which connects operational, field and laboratory data to help track activity from quarry to farm to verification.
