  • Compliance and audits: Support external certification audits, ensure operational EEMS compliance, oversee regulatory submissions, and monitor EMEA sustainability regulations to steer evolving program requirements.
  • Risk management: Identify and evaluate end-to-end data center environmental and energy risks, design mitigation programs, and investigate incidents to recommend global measures that prevent recurrence.
  • Continual improvement: Define and lead continual improvement initiatives using benchmarking, process excellence tools, and KPIs aligned with global GDC strategy.
  • Collaboration and training: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, data center operations, and contractors, developing targeted communication and training to drive energy awareness and program success.

Team and stakeholders

You will work within Google's Data Center team and GDC sustainability and compliance program, collaborating with cross-functional teams, data center operations, contractors, and external certification auditors, and communicating with both executives and engineers.
