Position summary

EY is seeking an EY Ripples Global Corporate Responsibility Senior Associate to support its global corporate responsibility program, which mobilizes EY people to participate in skilled volunteering. Reporting to the Associate Director, Supporting the Next Gen Lead, the role supports the Sustainability, Skilling & Future Workforce, and Tech Alliance social impact teams, boosting productivity and enabling deeper collaboration across key priority programs and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Content Hub by refreshing program materials (including embedding the new Global Environmental Strategy), optimizing file organization, and updating toolkits for employee and client activation.
• Support SCORE by submitting new materials for approval and updating them based on feedback.
• Run Sustainability Skills Labs by managing logistics and scheduling, recruiting and onboarding organizations and facilitators, handling pre/post-event materials, and maintaining databases and reporting, including “train the trainers” sessions.
• Support Skills Passports by refreshing content, supporting roll-out across programs, and creating activation materials for in-person workshops.
• Manage alignment, measurement & reporting by applying alignment criteria, managing review/approval, and running reports and M&R validations to support focus-area targets.
• Support strategic projects including Global Connect Day (data-capture tools, slide updates, project-management tools) and thought leadership/brand marketing tasks (video and content editing, research, comms templates).
• Support alliance opportunities by researching potential projects with alliances (e.g. Nvidia and natural-disaster modeling) and supporting meeting agendas, preparation, and follow-through.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Supporting the Next Gen Lead, the role supports the Sustainability, Skilling & Future Workforce, and Tech Alliance social impact teams, working with program partners, facilitators, beneficiary organizations, and stakeholders across the firm globally.

Key details

This is a full-time role based in Johannesburg, with flexibility to be located anywhere in the region, within EY’s Global Corporate Responsibility (EY Ripples) program.

Requirements

Essential

• Extensive experience producing high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.
• Experience problem solving and designing user-centric solutions.
• Experience engaging, influencing, and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong project and time management skills, able to drive new projects from conception to implementation and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experienced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills, able to dissect complex information and present it clearly within quick timeframes.
• A passion for and understanding of the corporate responsibility agenda and trends.
• A delivery-focused self-starter able to operationalize high-quality portfolios of work, mitigate risk, and manage multidimensional dependencies, comfortable working across geographies and cultures.

• Skills-based volunteering experience.
• AI fluency.
