Role and responsibilities

We are looking for someone to join our ESG Sustainability Team focusing on the social sustainability themes: Attractive workplace for all, Responsible value chain, Innovation ecosystem and Valued partner in our communities. In close collaboration with teams across ASML you will:

• Design strategies for social sustainability, and prepare proposals on policies and initiatives for senior leadership
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and partners to enhance social impact, ESG innovation and sustainability advocacy.
• Advise on performance improvement, stakeholder engagement, change management, and communication.
• Identify improvement opportunities, develop strategic roadmaps and drive initiatives for an inclusive workplace, attractive communities, STEM education and ESG innovation.
• Help quantify the benefits of our initiatives and engage with senior leaders to embed and prioritize ESG sustainability in the way we do business.
• Represent ASML at conferences and policy events, contributing to thought leadership and expert insights.

Education And Experience

8+ years of relevant experience in social impact or ESG innovation, preferably in a corporate or technology-related environment. We also welcome applicants with a background in technological research and affinity with social sustainability.

• Relevant academic degree, e.g. Sustainability Management, Social Studies, Change Management or Science and Technology Studies.
• Demonstrated success in developing and delivering community and sustainability impact strategies, programs and partnerships
• Experience in working with diverse stakeholders groups, e.g. academics and research institutions, startups and scaleups, universities and educational institutions, local governments and civil society organizations.
• Ability to evaluate social impact projects and ESG-focused research proposals against sustainability criteria and develop a portfolio aligned with ESG Sustainability goals.
• Systems thinker with strong business sense, delivery capability and communication skills.
• Hands-on involvement in policy, advocacy, or sustainability advocacy is an asset.

Other information

You will be part of the ESG Sustainability Strategy team, working in close collaboration with our Program Management team and stakeholders in the business. You will report to a direct report of the Head of ESG Sustainability Strategy.
