Axiom, the global leader in on-demand legal talent, is seeking ESG Attorneys to work with its top Fortune 500 clients. The role advises on ESG-related matters and helps clients set ESG targets and objectives, integrating ESG considerations into decision-making across cross-functional teams.

As ESG regulation and disclosure expectations intensify, F500 legal departments need specialist ESG counsel. This role helps clients assess ESG risk, improve performance and produce credible ESG disclosures, combining legal expertise with Axiom's AI-enabled delivery model.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on ESG matters and assist clients in setting ESG targets and objectives.
• Integrate ESG into decisions by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Assess ESG risk and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Draft and review disclosures including ESG reports and communications.

Team and stakeholders

Works with Axiom's Fortune 500 clients and their cross-functional and legal teams, delivered through Axiom's alternative legal services model.

Key details

• On-demand role delivered across Axiom's global coverage (North America, UK, Europe, APAC).
• Attorney compensation estimated at $104,500 to $325,000, with benefits and flexible work arrangements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience practising with a focus on environmental, social and governance matters.
• Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards and reporting guidelines.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to lead ESG initiatives.
• Experience with EU requirements is a plus.
