  • Maintain environmental records, registers, and documentation to support audits, accreditations, and regulatory requirements
  • Support external reporting and disclosures by coordinating and consolidating data from across the business to include Carbon scope 1,2,3 Packaging, WEEE & Batteries compliance schemes
  • Support in the preparation of Carbon Reduction Plans
  • Partner with operational and support teams to identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and enhance sustainability performance
  • Contribute to environmental incident investigations, identifying root causes and supporting the implementation of corrective actions
  • Support audits, inspections, and assurance activities, including preparing documentation and tracking actions through to completion
  • Assist in the development and delivery of environmental training and awareness initiatives
  • Stay up to date with relevant legislation and industry best practice, sharing insights with key stakeholders
  • Build strong, effective relationships with internal teams and external partners to support delivery of sustainability objectives

Here's what we’re looking for:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Management, Sustainability, or a related discipline
  • Professional qualification (or working towards) such as Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP)
  • ISO 14001 auditor/practitioner training (desirable)
  • Experience in an environmental or sustainability role within a medium to large organisation
  • Strong working knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting environmental management systems (e.g. ISO 14001)
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and present environmental data and performance metrics effectively
  • Experience supporting audits, inspections, or assurance activities
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
