Position summary

As part of CBRE's Energy and Sustainability (E&S) team, the Energy and Sustainability Program Management Lead will drive the development and execution of critical sustainability initiatives for a prominent global financial-sector client, guiding them toward ambitious sustainability and net-zero objectives. Reporting to the account's Global E&S Director, you will oversee both no/low-cost energy efficiency programs and significant capital and expense sustainability projects, collaborating with Regional E&S Leads, Facility Managers, Project Managers, and Engineering Leads worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Program delivery: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive energy and sustainability initiatives from ideation to completion, managing a portfolio of no/low-cost interventions and strategic capital/expense projects.
• Processes and tools: Develop and implement robust processes and tools for monitoring, communicating, and escalating progress within the global sustainability program.
• Performance improvement: Proactively identify operational improvements and opportunities to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability performance, and support energy resilience strategies.
• Data and reporting: Conduct in-depth reviews of energy and sustainability data and reports, and present periodic status updates and variance reports using energy, waste, and water data.
• Innovation: Integrate energy procurement strategies and emerging technologies into the global energy and sustainability platform, applying advanced principles to deliver innovative solutions.

Team and stakeholders

You will report to the account's Global E&S Director and collaborate with Regional E&S Leads, Facility Managers, Project Managers, and Engineering Leads worldwide, presenting to senior leadership in multi-country virtual settings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience; a compelling combination of experience and education also considered.
• A proven track record in energy and sustainability program management, preferably within large global real estate portfolios.
• Strong project management skills with a drive for execution from concept to completion.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex information to senior leadership in remote, multi-country settings.
• The ability to thrive in a global environment across countries and seniority levels, with sound analytical judgment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency essential; experience with Power BI and/or Tableau highly desirable.
