Position summary


CBRE is hiring an Energy Manager (Entry Level) within its Building Operations & Experience (BOE) Local platform, based in St. Louis or Dallas. Part of CBRE's Energy and Sustainability function, the role oversees the development and execution of small to medium-sized energy management programs across multiple facility types.

CBRE's clients rely on its Energy and Sustainability platform to cut energy use and meet sustainability goals. This role turns energy, waste and water data into sustainability, resilience and smart-energy plans that improve performance across diverse facilities.


Key responsibilities


  • Support sustainability consulting by creating sustainability, resilience and smart-energy plans for multiple facility types.
  • Identify improvements through operational opportunities that lift energy and sustainability performance.
  • Implement resilience strategies that support client sustainability goals.
  • Interpret energy data by reviewing energy and sustainability reports and presenting status and variance reports from energy, waste and water data.
  • Apply energy expertise by integrating energy procurement and new technologies with CBRE's global energy and sustainability platform.
  • Coach and influence by sharing knowledge, building consensus and modelling CBRE RISE values.


Team and stakeholders


Part of CBRE's Energy and Sustainability function within the BOE Local facility-management platform, impacting customer, operational, project and service activities across its own and related teams.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational skills with an advanced, inquisitive mindset.
